Trekking from Chitral Town to Drosh, KPK, Pakistan

Sunday, March 20, 2021: Mr. Shams Uddin started trekking from Chitral town to Drosh at 05:47am. The total trek measures 47 kilometer in total. He traveled through the Orghooch village. By 09:49, reached the Attani viewpoint from where took some very good pictures of the beautiful Broz and Ayun villages along with Attani.

He then descended onto the Ayun village from Attani side and had an early lunch at Ayun.

Continued a leisurely travel across Maskoor and reached Benisar, the gateway to Brir, the southernmost valley of the Kalasha community.

Traveled through Shedi village and a gentleman on the roadside invited him for tea.

To the end of the village, walked across the rock to reach village Kol, opposite to Kesu and continued traveling down to Khairabad. Here crossed onto Drosh side across the river through a newly-constrcuted jeepable bridge. Reached Drosh by 06:22pm, after 11 hours’ trekking.
